Sunflower gives the connotation of cheerfulness, bright, jolly, merry... you get the idea! However, if any content in this blog didn't fit the cheerfulness implied by its name, look at it this way... I'm putting down all the wretchedness, gloom, melancholy feeling in here so I can continue living up to the expectation of making the association to the sunflower.

From Virtual Office to Real Office
I'm sitting in the new office listening to the loud rain. It feels so unusual. I'm still adapting from virtual office to real, physical office atmosphere. It has been 3 days now. And when it rains like this, how I wish I can just take a break and snuggle under my blanket. Sigh! The good old days are gone.

Ferringhi Sunset
Breathtaking sunset view in Ferringhi beach...

The photo is from my last holiday before fasting month begins. Even a short break in between busy work schedules can do wonders for you. Trust me on this. The beach is amazing, the sunset spectacular and the speed boat cruise becomes the highlight of the holiday.
Before heading home, we went to Penang Hill. We missed the train going up at 3.00 by few seconds so we have to wait for another at 3.30. On the way down, again we missed the train at 4.15 by few seconds so we have to wait for another at 4.45. We decided to go back with the ferry to entertain my friend's son but he fell asleep even before we reached the jetty. We have to wait for quite some time due to the peak hour traffic. The thought of heading to the bridge did cross my mind but getting out from the queue is quite impossible.
We finally reached Juru about 7.15 and reached Gopeng at about 9.15. Thinking back, if all my plan went as scheduled, we could be one and a half hour early which would put us at Gopeng / Gua Tempurung area around 7.30, when the land slide happened. Really the HIGHER POWER at work there. Thank you God for protecting us.
