No Canon PowerShot A710 IS in Malaysia???

Waaarggghhhh.... :( I've been eyeing this digital camera for several weeks. Look at the spec. Impatient to wait for it to be available in our beloved country, I contacted them via Canon Malaysia website and this is what I got in reply.

Isn't it silly if for whatever reason the model won't be released here. It is like we have these 10 items but you all have to be a good girl and boy and choose only from these 7 items even if you have the money to buy it. We are not going to sell the one that you want here.

I only want this or I won't buy from Canon at all. If Canon Malaysia is not good enough to be selling this model, have to try other country lah like this.
