I still remember how it was when I first moved in my current apartment. Every hour I was obsessed with finding cheap, functional furniture to make it liveable as soon as possible. I'd stop at every furniture shop I see, I'd go to IKEA and DIY section at Giant, Carrefour, Tesco and Jusco. I'd lug everything I bought up the stairs to my 3rd floor apartment if I couldn't get my brother to help.
I was being very practical then. Who knows how long I'd be renting here. I didn't expect it to be long. I always feel I'll be going somewhere soon... like working overseas or travel around the world. Yeah right! Anyway, everything must be easy to disposed and unassemble if necessary. It has been almost three years and I'm still here. I have accummulated lots and lots of junk along the way. Now I wonder how do I get rid of them.
I'm starting to get bored with my decorations and furniture arrangements. I think probably the time is right because I have no training for two weeks from now. There'll be CNY holiday soon so I'll have the time if I really want to do something. Can't do anything drastic though. I think I'll find a red curtain, buy some white paint or something. An interesting project to do when I'm not busy training or going outstation :) I found this interesting website, 'Rental Decorating Digest', while googling for some ideas about redecorating.
