Few Thousand Words

People said a picture can speak a thousand words. I'm too exhausted to write a coherent entry so I hope these few photos will speak the words for me :)

33000 Feet Above Sea Level

At 33000 feet above the sea level, I felt like I was on a journey on a special land. The land of the cumulus nimbus where fairies can bounce on the fluffy white clouds, the cirrus sailing on the blue sky gently, the stratus like a Persian carpet inviting you to roll over it and bask under the glorious sky.

I wish I can capture all that but the photos taken couldn't do justice to the beautiful view of the clouds. 33000 feet is about 10km. It didn't sound a lot when we mention it in kilometers isn't it? My office is about 20km from my place. Half of that distance, put it on vertical... hmmm... The view down from that altitude is quite interesting too. I managed to capture some photos that look decent.

More on cloud types here.

Magnificent Sunrise

It is not often I can take photos of a beautiful sunrise. My apartment is facing west, the east side of my world is often blocked with high rise building or hills or cloudy morning or probably I didn't wake up early enough :) This is the first time I can capture sunrise with glorious orange and red hues. Not as beautiful as the real deal though.

Blue Sky and Sea

Just look at the photos. Enough said.
