There's a wireless connection in my hotel room. It is not very stable but I can still go online whenever I want to. And since I'll be here until Thursday, I definitely need my Internet connection. It is a good thing too I brought my personal laptop instead of office laptop. Too many applications not available at my office laptop.
From my hotel room
My journey today didn't start off very well simply because I have a gnawing feeling that I forgot something. Think as I may, I couldn't remember what it is. I still couldn't. The security check at the airport was OK. They only requested me to open my laptop bag. Thank God I was not asked to open my almost bursting luggage bag. Probably because it already looked so stuffed they don't want to be responsible for holding people up because I have to repacked everything hehehe...
I had airport nasi lemak for brunch. At RM7.50 per plate, with portion similar to the normal RM1.00 nasi lemak, I thought they would have at least kept the rice warm. It's cold. It is a good thing the sambal, the most important element for a nasi lemak, is good by normal standard. The teh tarik is acceptable too.
Near my table, a toddler was throwing tantrum because her mom and grandmother had their own plate for lunch and she didn't. I was wondering why they didn't bring anything to keep the little girl amused. After a while I saw her playing with slices of cucumber. She rubbed the table clean with it and then rubbed her face with the cucumber.
She looked so cute playing happily with the cucumber slices, getting her first facial treatment at such a tender age. I can't claim to be good at parenting but I do know cucumber that has been used as a tablecloth is dirty and shouldn't get anywhere near the little girl's face. My brother probably would say I'm too clean, that is why I get allergies but I still think that cucumber is not good for her at all. I wonder why her mom and grandma didn't do anything. Probably feeling relief the girl is playing quietly on her own.
I'm happy to be getting a window seat on the plane and happier because I had the whole row of seat to myself. We were taxiing for a long time because there're three planes taking off at almost the same time and a plane was also taxiing after landing. Before taking off, the planes stopped again to allow another plane to land. Suddenly KLIA seemed like a very busy airport.
It was cloudy at KLIA but after reaching a certain altitude, I was in awe at the vast blue sky and cottony white clouds. I think I haven’t seen a blue sky for quite some time due to the unpredictable weather on the ground and also the haze for the pastfew days. For a few minutes, I can enjoy the beautiful view. I managed to capture some photos of the sky. It didn’t do the view justice but it is quite decent to be shared here.
