I was planning to add more photos from my Kuantan trip but I'm still quite tired and don't have the time to go through all the photos and process them. Maybe I'll put them in my Flickr photos when time permits.
The weather was not so good. It rained on my way to Kuantan and also drizzles on my way back. I extended my stay hoping to do some sight seeing, experience this and take wonderful photos of the beaches and fishing villages. Unfortunately, it rained the whole night and the morning was dreary. Things don't always turned out as planned and lately it has been that way most of the time. It is a good thing however that the chef is willing to cook the meal I ordered instead of the boring room service menu on my last night there.
When I reached Shahbandar jetty, I was hoping to see some foreign tourist lining up to join the river cruise. I was wrong. No one was there and my hope to ride the boat was dashed. That is one problem faced when you're travelling alone. Furthermore, it was Monday. I had to work on weekend so I had no choice about the day I choose for sightseeing. I could pay for the minimum no. of people so the cruise could go on but the thought of me alone on the river with the boat guy... not a good idea.
I had tons of prawns there :) No allergic reaction from the fresh prawns and I can't resist the fat, juicy, succulent prawns. Yummy... Unfortunately, no photos of the food. Can't wait long enough to take any photos of the food hehehe...

Sunflower gives the connotation of cheerfulness, bright, jolly, merry... you get the idea! However, if any content in this blog didn't fit the cheerfulness implied by its name, look at it this way... I'm putting down all the wretchedness, gloom, melancholy feeling in here so I can continue living up to the expectation of making the association to the sunflower.
