Today begins my 2 session, 4 days training. On the way to work I was thinking if only all the participants didn't come, then I can relax a little bit after a hectic schedule. I met a colleague on the lift and told her the same thing. She laughed and said stop dreaming.
After breakfast I went to the training room to discover only one participant has arrived. What happened to the rest? There is a little change on the date and memos have been sent out so it is not possible only one received it. The admin staff makes phone calls to the participants' office and most told us they thought the second memo sent was a duplicate so didn't bother reading it. Nothing is impossible. Anything could happen.
We have to ask the only participant who attended to return to her office and the 2 sessions, 4 days training have been rescheduled. For this week, I only have 1 session of 2 days training which is a huge relief for me. Soon all my colleagues got to know of my wish that I mentioned to the colleague in the lift and everyone started asking for Toto numbers hehehehe...
I told them if my wishes can come true, there are more important wishes that I wish would become true instead of this one. Anyhow, I'm grateful for any kind of wishes that do come true. Probably God is pitying me and giving me a day rest. Alhamdulillah. There is a 'menjawab' session with my boss in the evening. Luckily he didn't make too much fuss about it.
Sunflower gives the connotation of cheerfulness, bright, jolly, merry... you get the idea! However, if any content in this blog didn't fit the cheerfulness implied by its name, look at it this way... I'm putting down all the wretchedness, gloom, melancholy feeling in here so I can continue living up to the expectation of making the association to the sunflower.
