Forgetful Makcik

I was eager to get home today. It's Friday!!! I was about 5 kilometres away from home when I realized I didn't have my purse with me. Oh oh... I left it in my office drawer. No wonder my handbag feels very light. During lunch, I transferred my purse to a small bag because I do not want to carry my handbag around. Forgot to transfer it to my handbag before I go back. Aiyyooo... this makcik... How come can forget one? I can call myself 'makcik'. Don't anyone else dare call me that ;)

Everything is in there. It contains my IC, driver's license, credit cards and flight ticket to Kuching tomorrow. I called office; thank God someone picked up the phone and that means someone is still in the office. Luckily I wasn't stopped along the way and asked to produce my IC or driver's license. Otherwise, who knows where I'll be spending the night tonight. If no one is in the office, someone will be cursing me if he/she has to return to office to let me in.

Despite having to make two trips to return home and unnecessary trip to office, I'm thankful I just left the purse in a locked drawer in the office. It could be worse.

Update:
With the foiled attempt to blow up planes in London, security at all airports will be strengthened including here. Hmmm... seems like I have to get to the airport a few hours early so as not to miss my flight.
