Destinasi Budget (or 'Budget Destination) is one of my favorite Ch-9 programs. The show, hosted by Shamsul Ghau-Ghau is a travel program which shows interesting travel destination all over Malaysia. What makes the program different than any other travel program is the 'budget' theme. Shamsul Ghau-Ghau will show that you can have an interesting holiday (normally at 3 days 2 nights) for RM300 or less. What makes the program interesting to me is it realistically shows where you can stay, what you can do, where you can go and where you can eat for the 3 days and 2 nights holidays, and with several options for you to choose from.
Other similar programs will normally show all the places you can go in one state, let's say Pahang for example. It is impossible for any person to cover the whole of Pahang's travel destination at any one holiday. And people have no idea of where to stay and what they can do.
The program is aired every Tuesday at 8.30 p.m. No! I'm not associated to Ch-9 or the program's producer in any way. I truly find the program fascinating and informative. Last night's travel destination is Langkawi. And among the travel destinations I've watched is Penang, Taiping, Kuantan/Cherating, and Cameron Highlands.
