Sunny Farewell to 2003

In a few hours, we'll bid farewell to 2003 and welcome 2004, full of hope for prosperity and happiness. Reflecting over things that has happened for the last 364++ days, today, I'm glad I've managed to get through an emotionally challenging times, discover some new friends, discover a few who don't deserve to be called a friend, and get in touch with long lost friends to name a few. Basically, I've learned many new things for the past one year. The experience may make me bitter and cynical in some ways, unforgiving to some people and feeling more content and sure of what I want in other ways. In other words, I've grown a lot. Hopefully, more mature to face new challenges ahead.

Resolutions?? The only one I made recently is to meet up with an old friend at least once a month. Two other things that I think is worthy of my resolution is to keep myself healthy and happy. Instead of taking my own over the counter medications for my asthma and allergies, I've seen a specialist. Actually, it's two to be exact. My personal evaluation, the first specialist is hopeless. I'm giving a chance to the second one. If he turns out to be hopeless too, I'll just find another.

My part is to do light exercise every morning. This has always been my New Year resolution but couldn't really carry it through when I always wake up sneezing or wheezing. Actually, more often, I'm just late :)

I've always like to travel. But responsibility to family and the never ending work has always held me back. I'm not going to wait for the right time anymore. Just do it whenever I'm in the mood and the opportunity is there. Just take a time off, and off we go. I'm also going to rid myself of all the responsibilities that I don't feel like holding anymore. I did not accept certain tasks and change my mind later. Instead, several things were kind of thrust upon me. All that unwanted responsibilities is sucking and draining my energy.

So 2004, here I come!!!

A quote that everyone should hold on to:-

"No one can go back and make a brand new start. But anyone can start from now and "make a brand new ending."
