Obviously everyone would wish to be rich, happy, famous, etcetera etcetera etcetera (borrowing phrases from Anna and The King). But it is no fun being rich without putting in any effort right! To be happy, comes from within. You don't need genie's wishes to be happy. You also can't force people to like you, be it your friends or the girl/guy you've always admire. It might turn out the girl/guy you admire is not the one you want. A perfect example would be in the movie 'While You Were Sleeping'. I know there are people out there who will use any means and methods to get someone to love them and marry them. Isn't that the same as wanting a zombie to like you? The person will marry you against their will. Anyway, I've digress.
The 3 things I would wish for if I have 3 wishes are:1. For people in busses to be more considerate. If there is space at the back, for goodness sake MOVE! Other people want to go back too. Oftentimes, I would squeeze myself in between people so I can be at the back. Trust me; this is the only way I feel I can breathe. Not to mention safer from naughty hands and elbows and what-nots. But of course, even if the Prime Minister's kneeling and pleading for people to be more considerate, who would listen? So I wish for an invisible genie's hand pulling these people by their ears so they'll make room for other people to board the bus.
2. For fathers not to smoke at home and especially when they're holding their kids. Those poor babies have no choice but to inhale second hand smoke from the person who claims to love them very much, but is actually slowly poisoning their own kids without any feelings of remorse. I wish for their cigarettes to be transformed into a baby's pacifiers.
3. For people who throw rubbish from their car, I wish the genie would automatically throw back 10 times the amount of rubbish back into their car. Serves them right don't you think?
